As a mother, a grandmother, and wife, I have an extended family with four children and ten grandchildren. I teach Sunday school for four and five year girls and boys at my church. I have a wonderful husband that supports me in all of my adventures and my dreams. My goal in life is to help young teen girls to have confidence in themselves, choose wisely in their actions each day. I am speaking at churches to young teens to not have sex until they are married. I will also go to private Christian schools to speak to teen girls. I will speak to the young teens to stay clear from drugs, and also speak to them to become a leader not a follower. My passion in life is to reach as many young teen girls to help them plan their goals in life and let them write down their dreams God has given them. The workbook and journal is a great way to make each young teenage girl know they are going to make a difference in the world. I also want to encourage teen girls and mothers to attend the speaking engagements to better their communication and relationship.
In the state of Texas a teenage girl gets pregnant every ten minutes. In the world a teen girl brings a baby into the world every ten minutes. Having made the choice of having sex and getting pregnant, sometime between her child’s conception and birth, the young mother must make another choice: to keep the baby, have an abortion or put the baby up for adoption. Some young teenage mothers are forced to have an abortion that the parents pay for because the parents of the teen girl do not want the responsibility. This is an emotional scar for the parents to overcome and also the teen girl to overcome. And the most important message to young teens is to address the economic impact of children dropping out of high school and raising children. When a young teen girl chooses to raise the baby most will not finish high school.
My purpose of writing this book was to let young teenage girls realize how important it is to make good choices in their lives. My story is about what I went through as a young teenager. I was adopted and for some reason I was always searching and became rebellious as a young teenager. I now know my parents that adopted me was the best for me and were a true blessing. I wanted to make a statement of how when you choose to follow God’s law, such as honoring your mother and father you will have a better journey in life. Also I have written this book to help young teenage girls see that one in four teenage girls have a sexual transmitted disease, that having a baby at young age will change their life, and are really not ready to take that responsibility. I speak to young girls to choose their education first. This book will help young girls to choose to have a good character, choose their passion in life and do the will of God, and also choose to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and choose the salvation, to become a true princess in God’s kingdom.
