3-1-2010 We have just seen an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile. It has produced a great amount of suffering. The earthquake in Hati has also produced a great amount of suffering. The earthquake in Chile produced a tsunami that damaged the towns along the coast in Chile. It also threatened other areas in the Pacfic. A Mega Tsunami is much larger than a normal tsunami. A Mega event can rise one thousand feet above the surface. Would you want to be in the path of such an event. At some point in the future a Mega event will occur that will strike the United States, it is just a matter of time. In the book terrorist will try to create a Mega Tsunami and use it as a terror weapon. Will they succeed? Read and find out.

We held a book signing at Black Bear Bookstore in Boone last Sat. I would like to thank everyone who stopped by and all the personnel who work with the store. If you are in the Boone area stop by. Sorry it took so long to get this entry updated. I have been researching the next book in the series, I got lost in the research. When you read Retributions Price look for any reference to “Shadow”. It will give you a hint about the next book. A friend is helping edit it. My friend said this about the next book after reading twenty pages. “The guys will need divine intervention to get out of this mess.” Don’t worry their situation will get even worse than that. So read the current book and gain insight into the next one.

5-11-10 We have the book on sale here in Elk Park N C. The store is Main Street Antiques 115 Main St. They are listed on facebook. I have a facebook page for the book linked to their’s. If you are traveling through I recommend that you stop by for a morning or afternoon. The town is an original mountain community, many of the families have lived here for over 100 years. If you arrive in town it is easy to find on Main St. Next door is Gardners barber shop, stop by for a hair cut or conversation. Remember we are not Mayberry, we have our own unique style. This what makes each small town different. Just down the street is Moose Crossing Antiques. Just past it is the Hard Times Cafe. Just up the street is Brinkleys Hardware. Go to this store, it is like time traveling back to the mid to early 1900’s. The store has been in operation since about 1900. Steve and the gang will be glad to see you.

Jane has two interesting Hoosier Style cupboards in stock, I have seen my grandmother use one of these in an eariler time. Jane also has a hand cranked butter churn ( I have seen washing machines like it) among the other items. When was the last time you used one of these?? Why not travel to where the book begain? Remember Elk Park is a small community, you never know who you will meet in town

5-24-2010 I would like to thank everyone who has purchased the book. I hope you have enjoyed it. I will try to reward you with the second book soon. I had intended to submit it last fall to the publisher, but I have worked on additional research and have found great material to add to the story, so If you will be patient I will get it added and move forward. If this book could be  compared to a fire, it would be a one alarm fire. The next book should be a three alarm fire. I would also like to thank everyone who have worked with the project.
