The Series
At least four books will make up the Heritage House Series. Each book will follow the lives of the introductory characters from book one and then expand into the hearts and lives of those around them. The stories are set in central North Carolina and then shift to the beautiful mountains just outside of Asheville where an old plantation house becomes the backdrop. Each book will carry a spiritual struggle and theme that is reflected in one of the four seasons as well as the book title.
Promise for Tomorrow, book one in the Heritage House Series, is the tale of a heart’s journey through the changing season of life as God brings beauty out of the ashes of loss and offers promise for tomorrow—whatever it may bring.
Forgiveness for Yesterday is a story that teaches the cost, gift, and value of God’s forgiveness to the undeserving, and how He expects his children to mirror that forgiveness
to others.
Strength for Today is a lesson on how to draw on God’s strength to face the consequences of past decisions and regrets. It’s a tale of love, loss, forgiveness and most of all the beauty of a restoration that can only be born in a strength that is made perfect in weakness.
Faithfulness for Always teaches that while we are not always faithful to our promises, God is faithful to His. It teaches that no matter how we may fail those we love, God is always faithful to carry out what He has said He will do.
You should anticipate twists, turns and surprises, that just like real-life,
can always leave you guessing!
