My adopted sister, Mary, who has become The Victor’s main cheerleader, publicist and champion has done it again! Not only has she arranged for me to meet Amy Grant, whose song, “Fairytale”, inspired the book 30 years ago, but she has also gotten my book into the hands of Sarah Palin and now, literally Nicholas Sparks.

She went to his book signing in North Carolina on September 17th and spoke to him for half an hour primarily about my book. Apparently he writes his own screenplays so she told him to feel free to write one for The Victor and then asked if she could take a picture with the copy of the book I autographed to him on the basis that it would be for my eyes only.  Nicholas’ response was that it was okay with him if I posted the picture on Facebook or anywhere else I wanted so here it is in all it’s glory!!
