Good Movies With Bad Endings
This just came to me in discussion with Tony about a movie we watched..did you ever realize that when you watch a movie and it can be great all the way through and then you come to a “bad ending” it ruins the entire movie…life’s like that too isn’t it? If you live a great life and the ending is bad, it ruins the entire eternal promise…what are your thoughts on this?
NEW BOOK Chapter 3
As many of you know I am writing a new book to the series “You’ve Been Conned” With this new book, I am seeking the opinions of others from all over. I will be using this information in the book. Here is the new Chapter…please be open and comment, be blunt, most of all be honest in your heart! Chapter Challenge: The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:10-13 that we should not have divisions in the Church, but rather to be of one mind. It goes on to say, some of you are saying “I follow Apollos, or I follow Peter, or I follow only Christ.” Has Christ been divided into factions? What do you think? Do we take God at his word, or do we try to twist our religions to fit into what is comfortable for us? What are your thoughts?

So food for thought….if your marriage isn’t fullfilling, start treating your spouse like you did when it was fullfilling!

Good day friends, just wanted to brighten your day with a hello, working on a new project, and thankful, it’s amazing to see God in the center of your life. He is opening doors in a whole new direction, so I wanted to remind you that when one door closes another can and will open.
Also wanted to share a little story…we went to the movies and it was 7 dollars r adults 5 dollars for children. We had 2 adults and 3 children. The gentlemen behind the counter wasn’t adding his best and he told us 23.00..we asked to write the check out for 30.00 more for snacks. As I was writing I stopped to add, and realized I owed more, so I rewrote the check for $59.00 and he thanked me…after getting our treats I realized that they gave us one extra gobstopper….at first I thought it was pretty cool, but then I realized that if I didn’t pay for it, it was like stealing and that God blesses those that are faithful, so I said to myself…”I am not loosing God’s Blessings over a box of Gobstoppers” So after the movie I went back and I told the gentleman that I owed him for a gobstopper…he smiled and said it was on the house and thanks for coming to the show! I am not sure what God did with that….but I know that I feel good about being faithful!
It’s my Mom’s birthday! Happy Birthday Mom! Love you!!!
Have a blessed day!

Today the sun is shining after weeks of rain…you know somedays, God provides the sun and somedays we are called to do so. Listen friends, as I look back on the journey of “You’ve Been Conned” I stop to briefly remember the depression, the night crying, the pain, the stuggles, the lost hope, the hurt, the change that I had to go through, the fight for my life, the battle to live a new life and be forgiven…but let me tell you that today, I turn back and look to see that I have come through that stuggle, and when you reach that goal, through self discipline, you are left Breathless! I encourage you to take a look at your goals and determine where they are taking you… any self help book will share vulnerability, but if it is worth reading, it will lead you to Jesus who can move mountains and does! God Bless, have a great day!

Take time to love, forgive often, don’t hold on to grudges, remember we are human and make mistakes, and always look to Jesus to correct them.
A letter to my friend….
Here is a story for you….
When a butterfly is cocooned, he is protected from the environment…protected from many many things…until it comes a time for him to change…the butterfly inside the cocoon has to fight for his life to get out of that protective environment…he fights and struggles until you would think he can’t get out…
If you were to help that butterfly get out of that cocoon by cutting it open for him…you would kill him…
The reason: The struggle is to strengthen the butterfly’s wings…so that he can fly…
You too, are only coming out of the cocoon….you will be strengthened to fly!
I encourage you to do this…don’t look at your struggles as a means of defeat, look at your struggles as a means to strengthen that which is already inside you, for a bigger purpose is coming towards you, and will need the strength to fly

Happy Cinco de mayo (May 5th). As I sit and focus on the message that the Lord would have me prepare for Sundays message for Mother’s Day on Sunday at the Christian Outreach, I focus on the Mother of Jesus…I want to encourage every mother, child or childless, young or old, new or experienced that your job of raising your children is one of nurturing and comfort, love and joy, compassion and understanding, it is no small feat, and I applaud you for your motherhood.
My children shared with me that there is nothing better than spending the day with “Mom” and that made me consider the importance of a Mother’s role in her children’s life. It is not to mold them in whom we believe they should be, but to encourage them to be who God intended them to be. Love them, forgive them, spend time with them. As I look back on my own childhood, the only thing I remember is the “time” my family spent with me….whether it was a lot, or nothing, that is what I remember.
I encourage you to be unique and allow your children to be unique. Many blessings to you on this amazing week coming up to Mother’s Day.
Jesus loves you!
