Bridge Tenders - Addicition Help

March 6th, 2010. Published under Fighting Addictions or Depression. No Comments.

A great organization helping people fight and overcome their battles of addiction through faith in Jesus Christ.

BridgeTenders International Inc. is a 501(c)(3) faith based organization formed to assist persons who, because of birthplace, lifestyle, surrounding environment or uncontrollable outside conditions and influences are in need or are impoverished. Whether it is mental, physical, emotional or spiritual encouragement, BridgeTenders promotes and enables a balanced lifestyle filled with hope, health and joy for its clients.

BridgeTenders has a vision to spread its programs and impact initially throughout the southeast, then to all areas of our nation and eventually all over the world. Our name is a symbol of this vision. We desire to bridge the gap between addiction and hope internationally. People all over the world are struggling with addictions and are searching for the ultimate hope and restoration found in Jesus Christ. While we know this will take a long time, it is the goal we are striving to achieve as we grow and develop over the coming years.

Pastor David Nichols, Director
All BridgeTenders’ programs, counseling and administrative services are overseen by Pastor Nichols. He was once an alcoholic and drug addict, and since becoming clean in August of 2003, David has committed his life to serving those who come from a similar background. He has worked with hundreds of drug and alcohol addicts and their families since joining BridgeTenders in May 2008. He is responsible for working with the court systems, interviewing potential clients, placing them in rehabilitation centers, transporting clients to and from facilities, communicating with them throughout their stay in a center, and working with them once they graduate to assist in their reentry to the community. Pastor Nichols also leads BridgeTenders’ 12 Step Program and the Alumni Accountability Group

Create, Connect, Commit to God - Beat Depression!

March 5th, 2010. Published under Fighting Addictions or Depression. No Comments.

Author Randy Tucker leads you through his own personal testimony to the brink of depression and how he was set free from that bondage.  He developed a plan “Create, Connect, Commit to God” which he used in his recovery and has written the process he followed to help others find their way out.

Create, Connect, Commit is the revolutionary process that will create enduring change in your life and break the negative cycles of behavior that are holding you back, stealing your dreams, and may even be driving you into depression. It is the only system of self help that has ever worked for me, and believe me I’ve tried them all. I not only tried self help, I tried professional help, but nothing worked until I learned this process and committed to living it everyday. I sank so far into depression that I feared I would never be able to hold a job and even contemplated suicide. Create, Connect, Commit helped me conquer my fears, break free from negative cycles of thought and behavior, put my depression in check and created a rewarding, productive life for me. Create, Connect, Commit is a life changing experience and I believe in it so much that I am dedicating my life to getting it into the hands of everyone who needs it.

I tried everything to cure my depression, but nothing worked. Therapy was ineffective and medications were hit and miss. When I decided to beat depression once and for all I studied everything I could about psychology and the process of change. Create, Connect, Commit is the process I developed out of my need for something that worked. I desperately needed something that would work and this process works so well I want to make sure it is available to everyone who suffers from depression, anxiety, codependency, the fear of failure, addiction, low self esteem, obesity or who just wants to change. Nearly all psychological issues have at least one thing in common; the inability to change the negative behavior.

I’m not a doctor or psychologist and I do not have a PhD. I am an ordained and licensed minister whose battle with depression cost him his ministry, career, marriage and nearly his life. I recovered from a level of depression most never return from. I started from scratch and built a new career and a new life. I started writing about the process I discovered for creating enduring change in my life. “Create, Connect, Commit to God” “Change Anything; How I Beat Depression and The Process I Used to Create A New Life” “Create, Connect, Commit’ and other books which detail the CCC Process will soon be available at Amazon.com and on this website.
